Nowhere to go tonight?
Call us. Urgent ones get dealt with that day, and we'll tell you straight what we can and can't do.

Call us first. Read this after.
Ring now, then come back. Every hour counts when you've got nowhere.
Also do this today
Ring the council and tell them you're homeless or about to be. They've got a legal duty to help and the sooner it's logged the better. Do both — costs you nothing.
If you're not safe
Call 999. If you're fleeing someone, tell us — we can look for somewhere they won't be able to find.
What we can actually do.
We're straight about this. Getting messed about when you're desperate is worse than being told no.
What we can do
Find you a room in supported or shared housing, usually within days. Sort transport to get you there. Stay with you afterwards so it doesn't fall apart in week two.
What we can't do
We're not an emergency shelter and we don't have beds of our own. If it's tonight and nothing else is moving, your council's out-of-hours team and 999 are the right calls.
What we'll need
Your name, a number, roughly where you need to be, and whether you're claiming Universal Credit or Housing Benefit. That's it to get started.
What we won't ask
We don't need your history to help you. Tell us what you want to tell us. Nobody here is going to be shocked.
We've been there too.
The person who answers has slept rough, or sofa surfed, or been through the system themselves. You won't have to explain what it feels like.
Ring us now.
Two minutes is enough. Just tell us where you are and that you've got nowhere.
